minor features 🔴 bug fixes release of 1th august 2025 🟢 major features redesigned side navigation bar users now have a simplified and smoother navigation bar which expands and shrinks on hover added supplier chase sheet declarants can now track which suppliers did not provide emissions data for which products/commodity codes and export this to an excel sheet to follow up users can also send an email or a connection request via our platform straight through the chase sheet summary revamped supplier engagement we've revisited our entire operator tool flow and have now allowed operators to input finalized emissions data to share with their declarants for free operators can now centralize their cbam emissions data on our platform or calculate them by purchasing the operator tool implemented cbam costs projections declarants can now project their certificate and cbam costs exposure for the upcoming years, factoring in assumptions such as import volume growth rate, emissions growth rate, and the ets price changes revamped the emissions data page we've separated the emissions data page into to separate pages one for seeing a declarant's cbam costs at a granular level and another for seeing what emissions data your reports are currently using 🔵 minor features supported product name parsing in efda and comms templates when uploading these templates, the platform will now use the product names when creating emissions data supported electricity factor data source parsing in efda and comms templates these data fields are now automatically parsed during uploads release of 9th july 2025 🟢 major features implemented a declarant overview page declarants now have a powerful dashboard to examine current quarter reporting status, missing supplier data, and current estimated financial exposure added source of electricity emission factor users can now specify source of electricity emission factor in emissions data release of 3rd july 2025 🟢 major features excluded indirect emissions from cbam costs calculation for steel and aluminium we've changed the calculation for the costs on relevant pages for iron and aluminium goods exposed product name in emissions data entries users can now specify product names when creating emissions data to differentiate between multiple products provided under the same commodity code users can reference this product name during shipment uploads to automatically map the correct emission factor enabled bulk emissions uploads for suppliers users can now bulk upload emission entries for multiple suppliers release of 27th june 2025 🟢 major features updated cbam emissions costs calculation we've changed the calculation for the costs on the emissions page for declarants to match the new updated calculation logic users can now select different cbam factors to see how this affects their shipment cbam costs added a 50 tonnes cbam threshold monitor on imports users can now filter by year and determine if they're above the threshold or not by default, the threshold calculates for current year 🔵 minor features fixed data flicker issue during certain actions, old data in tables would flicker and show up before the table updated to show the new date this has been updated to be smoother release of 17th june 2025 🟢 major features changed cbam costs calculation we've assumed a cbam benchmark of 1 for all cn codes and updated our calculation accordingly this effectively increases all financial estimates but will decrease in the future once the commission releases the actual benchmarks 🔵 minor features added navigation to shipments added a bread crumb navigation section when viewing shipments release of 13th june 2025 🟢 major features redesigned shipments page complete overhaul for improved usability—updated table headers, streamlined creation, editing, and viewing simplified data uploads users can now upload shipments directly suppliers are created automatically as needed, reducing upload steps 🔵 minor features added supplier hover cards users can navigate easily to suppliers from shipments using supplier hover cards that detail who this supplier is implemented supplier data overview panels track missing cn codes emissions data and incomplete supplier addresses from the suppliers page added supplier level emissions input emissions data directly at the supplier level—no need to reference installations release of 3rd june 2025 🟢 major features redesigned analytics page updated for both manufacturers and declarants with improved usability implemented procurement simulation added a procurement page allowing declarants to simulate total product and cbam costs using historical shipments and projected carbon prices 🔵 minor features simplified emissions form removed legacy fields (e g methodology type) to streamline data entry added share of default emissions to emissions form declarants can now enter the share of default emissions for analytical use bulk upload error feedback emissions upload errors are now clearly surfaced for easier troubleshooting improved node interaction enhanced selection and movement of stacked nodes in manufacturer diagrams release of 27th may 2025 🟢 major features redesigned declarant reports table for improved usability the reports table now supports multi selection and offers a smoother experience when navigating between individual reports and the full table this update makes working with reports more intuitive and less disruptive supported multiple commodity code delimiters for shipment uploads declarants can now upload commodity codes in various formaters the system recognizes formats like 73181595 , 7318 15 95 , 7318 15 95 , and 7318 15 95 as equivalent support for 10 digit commodity codes has also been added supported multiple commodity code delimiters for precursor supplier uploads operators can now upload commodity codes in a variety of formats, including support for 10 digit codes refer to the shipment upload update above for accepted formats 🔵 minor features added a cbam registry report id column in reports table a new column has been introduced to help users easily reference cbam registry report ids within the reports table allowed use of ‘default’ for embedded emissions in precursor supplier uploads operators can now use default or default as a value for embedded emissions instead of entering a specific number added close button to installation emissions upload modal a new x button makes it easier to close the modal and return to previous views swapped latitude and longitude field positions in operator installations the positions of these fields have been reversed to follow standard geolocation conventions release of 20th may 2025 🟢 major features added declarant emissions template uploads declarants can now upload the eu cbam communication template and the efda template to parse emissions data per installation added generalized emissions data uploads declarants can now upload emissions data for multiple installations at the same time added report id for amendment period declarants can now generate reports with a specified id for amending submitted reports to the commission's portal added one click report regeneration declarants can now regenerate reports using a single click without needing to re input quarter, year, and costs analytics cbam declarants can now view an overview for their carbon costs with breakdowns by cn code & suppliers release of 22nd april 2025 🟢 major features parsing efda excel template users can now upload the efda excel template to instantly generate diagrams visualizing factory processes and emissions—streamlining the onboarding experience carbon costs analytics declarants can view estimated carbon costs for their imports, based on average eu carbon prices from 2023 and 2024 more advanced analytical tools will become available soon 🔵 minor features updated ember electricity emission factors for diagrams under the 2024 reporting period, updated electricity emission factor data from the ember dataset is now available release of 8th april 2025 🟢 major features grouping precursor nodes users can now group multiple purchased cbam good nodes into one single node this is to reduce clutter and make diagrams cleaner more details are available 🔩 purchased cbam good release of 25th march 2025 🟢 major features copy paste of diagrams users now have multiple options to create new diagrams they can start from scratch with a blank canvas, use pre filled templates provided by carbon glance, or build from existing diagrams more detailed guidelines are available create a new diagram upgrades of subscriptions users can now upgrade their subscriptions installations with an active subscription will display a green 'active' label in the new status column on the table (as shown below) if an expired subscription is not renewed, users will have to select which installations to deactivate/archive users will retain access to their diagrams from archived installations but will not be able to edit them
