View your Emissions

ο»ΏYou can view the CBAM emissions data generated from your schematic diagram in the Emissions Table tab.ο»Ώ

1

Click Emissions Table

ο»Ώ
2

View your CBAM emissions table

ο»ΏThe table displays the installation name, CN code, status (Draft or Final), aggregated goods category, direct, indirect, and total specific embedded emissions (SEE), along with the reporting period.ο»Ώ

ο»ΏIMPORTANT: This is not the full CBAM data. To preview all parameters generated from the diagram, save the diagram as Final and click Preview Full Data.ο»Ώ

Compare your CBAM Emissions against Default Values

1

Hover over any of the emission values to compare them with country-specific default values for the same CN code

A green arrow indicates that your values are below the default value, while a red arrow indicates that they are above.

Downloaded Excel File

Your downloaded Excel file will contain three relevant tabs:

Emissions Data

The final number of columns in the Excel file will depend on the number of additional qualifying parameters added for each produced CBAM good.

Parameter

Description

Installation

This is the name of the installation where the good was produced

Process Name

This is the name of the installation where the good was produced

Product Name

This indicates the specified name of the good

CN Code

This specifies the CN code of the good

Aggregated Goods Category

This indicates the CBAM aggregated goods category to which the good belongs

Direct (tCOβ‚‚e/t)

This indicates the direct specific embedded emissions (SEE) of the good

Indirect (tCOβ‚‚e/t)

This indicates the indirect specific embedded emissions (SEE) of the good

Total (tCOβ‚‚e/t)

This indicates the total specific embedded emissions (SEE) of the good (Direct + Indirect)

Share of Default Emissions (%)

This indicates the percentage of default emissions used to calculate the good's emissions

Reporting Period

This specifies the monitoring and reporting period used for calculating the good's emissions

Electricity Consumed (MWh/tonne of product)

This represents the electricity consumed in MWh per tonne of product, which is automatically calculated from the diagram’s electricity inputs and attributions

Electricity Source

This indicates the primary source of electricity

Electricity Emission Factor (tCOβ‚‚e/MWh)

This represents the electricity emission factor, which is calculated by also taking into account precursors

Source of Electricity EF

This specifies the source of the electricity emission factor used.

Other Source Indication

This indicates a secondary source of electricity, where applicable. For instance, an installation consuming both grid electricity and self-generated electricity

Production Method

This specifies the production route used to produce the good

Additional Qualifying Parameters

The remaining columns display any additional qualifying parameters

Share your Data with Connected Declarants

This option is available only if your EU-based clients are using our tool for CBAM Declarants.

1

Go to Pending Requests

In this screen, you can view all your pending data requests from CBAM declarants.

Document image
ο»Ώ

When your client send you a connection request, you'll also be notified via Email with the following message.

Document image
ο»Ώ
2

Click Accept Request

Document image
ο»Ώ

Until you accept the request, the following is what your client using our CBAM Declarant tool will see.

3

Save your diagram as Final to share the CBAM data with your clients

REMINDER: You won't be able to download your data in Excel format or share it with connected CBAM declarants until you save your diagram as Final.

Once you save it as Final, the CBAM data will be accessible to your connected clients.

IMPORTANT: Your clients will only have access to the CBAM parameters required for their CBAM report. Neither your installation diagram nor data such as supplier information, fuel, raw materials, or electricity consumption will be shared.

4

Return your diagram to Draft if you need to edit it

After saving the diagram as Final, you may notice an error, an inaccurate value, or receive updated information from your suppliers about the emissions of your purchased CBAM goods.

In such cases, you can return the diagram to Draft to make the necessary edits. Meanwhile, your clients will continue using the previous data you shared with them. Once you save the diagram as Final again, their data will be automatically updated with the new values.

Share your Data via the Operator Portal of the CBAM Registry

The EU Commission has introduced a new portal section (O3CI) within the CBAM Registry.

Registration is already available here.

This new portal allows Operators to share their installation and emissions data through a central registry managed by the Commission, eliminating the need to submit data individually to each CBAM Declarant (the EU-based clients).

A video tutorial with instructions on how a new user can create a registration request, save it, and submit it to the system is available here.

Additionally, a video tutorial explaining how a new user is notified of a rejected registration request, updates it, and resubmits it to the system is available here.

You can find more information and guidelines about this new portal on the EU Commission's CBAM website.

Please note that the portal is only for sharing information and does not perform emissions measurements.

Additionally, your EU-based clients (the CBAM Declarants) must share their EORI number with you outside the CBAM Registry to access your information.

Currently, the information must be entered manually in the portal. If the Commission allows integrations in the future, we will notify you to facilitate the data flow from your Carbon Glance account to the Operator Portal.
